Don't wake me up...

Okay, so this is my Last Song Syndrome for the next couple of days and nights. Oh yeah, I love the beat and the tune of this song. As usual, Chris Brown combines emotion and r n' b into one, plus the touch of love and sometimes, romance in his songs. Aside from the reason that I keep on listening to this sing because I love it, I actually dedicate this song to someone....so, don't wake me up.

Dearly Beloved,If this love only exists in my dreams,Don’t Wake Me Up,
[CHRIS BROWN]Too much light in this window,Don’t Wake Me Up,Only coffee no sugar inside my cup,If I wake and you here still gimme a kiss,I wasn't finished dreamin’ about your lips,
[CHORUS]Don’t Wake Me Up,Up,Up,Up,Up, Up.Don’t Wake Me Up,Up,Up,Up,Up, Up.Don’t Wake Me Up,Up,Up,Up,Up, Up.Don’t Wake Me Up..Don’t Wake MeDon’t Wake Me Up…Don’t Wake Me Up…Don’t Wake Me Up…yeah…Don’t Wake Me Up,Up,Up,Up,Up, Up.Don’t Wake Me Up,Don’t Wake Me
[CHRIS BROWN][ From: http://www.metrolyrics.com/dont-wake-me-up-lyrics-chris-brown.html ]So much life in the city you wont believe,Been awake for some days now no time to sleep,If your heart is a pillow, this love the bed,Tell me what is the music inside my head,
{Chours}Don’t Wake Me Up,Up,Up,Up,Up, Up.Don’t Wake Me Up,Up,Up,Up,Up, Up.Don’t Wake Me Up,Up,Up,Up,Up, Up .Don’t Wake Me Up..Don’t Wake MeDon’t Wake Me Up…Don’t Wake Me Up…Don’t Wake Me Up…yeah…
Don’t Wake Me Up,Up,Up,Up,Up, Up.Don’t Wake Me Up,Don’t Wake MeI don’t wanna fall fall fall fall asleep now,I don’t wanna fall unless im falling for you,I don’t wanna fall fall fall fall asleep now,I don’t wanna fall unless im falling for you,Don't Wake Me Up, Up, Up, Up, Up, Up.Don't Wake Me Up.Don't Wake Me.

It's been awhile...

Yeah, it's been awhile....

since I posted something here! I miss blogging, really!

I wasn't able to keep my blog up-to-date for about 3 months now, because of so many things that happened to my life both good and bad. I decided to focus on those stuff first before anything else. And now, I'm glad I got some time to make a short and simple post right here! :)

So right now, I'm already working in a BPO Company in our City, and am still trying to manage my time for sleep (I'm in graveyard shift!), work and relaxation. Not to mention, the time for just simply surfing the net, check on my blog and update my social networks. Nonetheless, I am so glad about the things which happened to my life in the past few months (which I'm gonna try to create late posts about them).

So, I guess it ends here for now. Till my next blog update. Take care everyone and God bless!^_^

What I want for my Birthday...

My birthday is just around the corner, and I am kinda excited (at the same time a bit sad coz I'm getting older.lol) to turn 22!

So now, here are the top three things I wanted (just any of these) which are on my birthday wishlist. As you know, I am a techie guy and I so love gadgets. So what would you expect a techie guy would want to have on his birthday? Of course, that would be the latest gadgets that has come out of the market! So without further ado, here are my top three birthday wishlist:

First, is the all new Macbook Pro....with Retina Display!

This next generation Macbook Pro just came out of the market last June 11, and was unveiled in Apple's WWDc 2012 Developer's conference in California. I really watched the liveblog of the event, as I was excited to know what Apple's going to unveil, and they did show us an upgrade to their Macbook Pro notebook lineup, as well as the latest developments in their Mac OS X and iOS. So much for that, aside from having an amazing Retina Display, it has so many other great features and upgrades which I cannot list them all right here. So, better watch this video below showcasing the features of the new Macbook Pro with Retina Display.

Next on the list, is also a product made by the Cupertino-based company - the New iPad. I also watched the unveiling of the New iPad during Apple's special event last March. I was so amazed with display of the New iPad (iPad 3 or iPad 3rd generation, whatver you might call it), as Apple has finally incorporated the amazing Retina Display from the iPhone into the tablet. What's more, the New iPad amazed me with it's quad-core graphics, 5-megapixel iSight Camera, and 4G LTE speeds (though it might take longer for LTE to be in full-operation in the Philippines). Plus, it comes with Apple's latest iOS 5.1, the world's most advanced mobile operating system!

Third on my list, is the one Android smartphone I love the most, and that is the Samsung Galaxy S III! I got my hands on this one, and I was really amazed with it's brilliant 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD screen. It also feels good in the hand, despite it's large size. It runs the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and has some smart features like the SmartStay and Samsung's counterpart to Siri - the S-Voice! Though I already have the iPhone 4S (and I love it!), I prefer the SGS III's large screen when it comes to mobile browsing, gaming, and video streaming.  Indeed, I should say it is the best Android smartphone to date!

So these are the top three birthday presents that I wish to receive on my very special day next month! Yeah, I know these are so expensive, but what can I do? I'm a techie guy and these are what I love to have! ;)

I just hope somebody would ever give me one of these as a present, I do hope so! I would really, really, really appreciate it so much! :)

Somebody that I used to know

This is one simple yet so meaningful song that caught my ears into listening over and over again. I love this song and the music video (which features Kimbra), and I can definitely relate to the story behind it. The song, along with its distinct beat I should say, is something new to everyone's ears, just like Adele's songs.

"Somebody that I used to know", written by Gotye, a Belgian-Australian singer, had indeed attracted millions of viewers in YouTube and has sold over 4 million copies all over the world. Now, what really is behind the music video and the song itself that everyone can't seem to get over with, including me?

The video is refreshingly different. Unlike the standard sex and swag of contemporary pop music videos, the concept of this (it has one!) is as if Jasper John is painting on Veruschka, if you know your 20th century art history. It starts with the camera panning over the singers naked and almost hairless body. It’s intimate, but not sexual. This is a break-up song. When the camera gets to Gotye’s face, he starts singing, but doesn’t look at us. When he sings the word, “die,” he finally makes eye contact. Clearly this is not going to be a love fest.

A sample of a Brazilian bossa nova guitar riff shuffles in the background as pencil lines are drawn on a white wall. We get it. This is how relationships begin, all possibilites are open. But then we see that triangular areas are forming and then those shapes are getting painted in. The honeymoon is over. Things are starting to get rigid. “When you said we could not make sense, then you said that we could still be friends,” Gotye croons.

Then the tempo picks up and he goes into more of a cry for the chorus, ”You didn’t have to cut me out,” reminiscent of Peter Gabriel. As the tone shifts, the painting which had just been confined to the wall behind him is now beginning to cover his skin. He is inside of the relationship and can’t get out. “Now you’re just somebody that I used to know,” he sings angrily, completely covered in paint, looking a bit like a muted, arty version of Ace Frehley from KISS.

Then we pull back from Gotye and see how he has become part of the painting behind him. As we pull out more we see that his girlfriend is also part of the painting with her back towards us. Then she turns her head and begins to sing, “Now and then I think of all the times you screwed me over,” the New Zealand singer Kimbra begins. And here’s the surprise that makes the song. We’re going to get to hear the other side of the story.

But not for long. As she approaches him, her temper rises but he remains cool, impassive. But when she is finally shouting in his ear, he screams back with the chorus and she retreats into background vocals and slowly backs away. When she’s back in her original position, the paint start disappearing from her skin until she is naked, free to go. Gotye is still trapped in the relationship, but Kimbra has moved on.

"Somebody that I used to know"

(feat. Kimbra)

[Gotye:]
Now and then I think of when we were together
Like when you said you felt so happy you could die
Told myself that you were right for me
But felt so lonely in your company
But that was love and it's an ache I still remember

You can get addicted to a certain kind of sadness
Like resignation to the end, always the end
So when we found that we could not make sense
Well you said that we would still be friends
But I'll admit that I was glad it was over

But you didn't have to cut me off
Make out like it never happened and that we were nothing
And I don't even need your love
But you treat me like a stranger and I feel so rough
No you didn't have to stoop so low
Have your friends collect your records and then change your number
I guess that I don't need that though
Now you're just somebody that I used to know

Now you're just somebody that I used to know
Now you're just somebody that I used to know

[Kimbra:]
Now and then I think of all the times you screwed me over
Part of me believing it was always something that I'd done
But I don't wanna live that way
Reading into every word you say
You said that you could let it go
And I wouldn't catch you hung up on somebody that you used to know

[Gotye:]
But you didn't have to cut me off
Make out like it never happened and that we were nothing
And I don't even need your love
But you treat me like a stranger and I feel so rough
And you didn't have to stoop so low
Have your friends collect your records and then change your number
I guess that I don't need that though
Now you're just somebody that I used to know

[x2]
Somebody
(I used to know)
Somebody
(Now you're just somebody that I used to know)

(I used to know)
(That I used to know)
(I used to know)
Somebody

Happy Mother's Day Mama Lucia!

"All that I am, or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother."

- Abraham Lincoln

Mama and I during my college graduation.:)
All the success I have in my life right now, I couldn't have done without you.Thank you also for being an inspiration ever since I was a child.  Thank you for working hard for the whole family, and thank you for not giving up on us brothers and sisters, even though I know at times we become stubborn or hard-headed. Thank you for helping me to become the person I am right now. Thank you for everything, Mama, for all the hard work, support, tender love and care. You are indeed, a Supermom!

Most of all, I thank you, for bringing me into this world. I love you so much! Happy Mother's Day!:)

Only Time by Enya

I love this song by Enya, Only Time. It's about how love changes, so as everything in this world changes. It's about not knowing where love will lead you  in your future, whether you will be happy or sad in the end. No one knows, only time.

Who can say where the road goes
Where the day flows, only time
And who can say if your love grows
As your heart chose, only time

Who can say why your heart sighs
As your love flies, only time
And who can say why your heart cries
When your love lies, only time

Who can say when the roads meet
That love might be in your heart
And who can say when the day sleeps
If the night keeps all your heart
Night keeps all your heart

Who can say if your love grows
As your heart chose
Only time
And who can say where the road goes
Where the day flows, only time

Who knows? Only time

WHY?

Why?
Drazen A. Evilla

Why do I keep on thinking about you?
When you don't remember me at all,
Why do I always get affected about you?
When you don't even seem to listen or to care about me.

Why is it, that I have fallen for you at the first place?
When I realize that you still love that someone from your past,
Why did fate led the two of us to start something new?
When in fact, we can never possibly be.

Why is it always so unfair for me to love you?
When each time I needed you, you weren't there.
Why do I always keep on forgiving you?
When I know you'v hurt me too many times.

Why can't you see, you made this pain in my heart?
That though I know you love me, you keep on giving me heartaches,
Why can't I stop missing you all the time?
When all those times I walked all alone, you made me sick.

Why is it, that while I am writing these lines by heart?
The good times we had, hasten through my wits,
Why won't you give the two of us enough time?
Before we'll part ways and bid goodbyes...

Why, oh please, tell me why?

Safe & Sound...

I dedicate this song, this lonely song, to someone out there. Maybe then, that someone will know, how lonely I am right now....You and I, will be safe and sound...

Taylor Swift ft. The Civil Wars - Safe & Sound (The Hunger Games)

[Taylor Swift]
I remember tears streaming down your face
When I said, I'll never let you go
When all those shadows almost killed your light
I remember you said, Don't leave me here alone
But all that's dead and gone and passed tonight...

Just close your eyes
The sun is going down
You'll be alright
No one can hurt you now
Come morning light
You and I'll be safe & sound...

Don't you dare look out your window darling;
Everything's on fire
The war outside our door keeps raging on
Hold onto this lullaby
Even when the music's gone, gone

Just close your eyes
The sun is going down
You'll be alright
No one can hurt you now
Come morning light
You and I'll be safe & sound...

Oooooo, Oooooo,
Oooooo, Oooooo
Lala... Lala...
Lala... Lala...

Oooooo, OooOoo,
Oooooo, OooOoo
Lala... Oh Lala...

Just close your eyes
You'll be alright
Come morning light,
You and I'll be safe & sound...

Oooooo, OoooOooo,
Oooooo, OoooOooo,
Oooooo, OoooOooo,
Oooooo, OoooOooo,

Oooooo, OoooOooo,
Oooooo, OoooOooo...

The Uncanny

The Uncanny
Drazen A. Evilla

Gone was the grandeur of this moment's victor,
For a mysterious turbulence had occurred deep within,
Unleashing this diabolic creature from its prison,
And corrupted the halo of the torch of hope.

This creature had slept for thousands of years,
And brought up its dark soldiers as it lived once again,
All throughout, the darkness has now reigned,
Would this be the beginning of the world's end?

Loyalty will be tested to those who have faith,
And burn the souls of those wretched mortals,
They would suffer pain as their teeth would ache,
And the unfortunate souls would eternally burn.

But listen! The voices of the angels can be heard calling...
For the unfortunate ones and those who have protection,
While the doldrums of evil come rushing rapidly,
Hurling their weapons of terror and wrath.

But then, the Divine one would keep the evil at bay...
And melt the bones of the soldiers from the uncanny,
The blinding light would conquer the darkness of the hour,
And the trumpet of hope will blow once again!

No more tribulation has been left evident,
Caused by the demon whose cadaver burned to ashes,
No more ambiguity and cast curses left insurmountable,
For the good will always triumph forever!

First time at Panagatan

Finally, I have eaten at perhaps the best seafoods restaurant in town - Panagatan!

I have been wanting to come and dine here for a years, and wishing to eat crabs and lobsters and shrimps and all the goodness of seafood. I'm so happu I have finally eaten here, having eaten shrimps and my most favorite Calamares!

I definitely enjoyed having dinner there with a friend, with their delicious seafoods, nice ambience with dim lightings and mellow music, and the view of the sea as you enjoy eating. Wish to eat there once again!

Pussywillows, Cattails

This mellow song, by Kenny Rankin, is dedicated to my past love affairs...

Pussywillows, cat-tails, soft winds and roses
Rainbows in the woodland, water to my knees
Shivering, quivering, the warm breath of spring
Pussywillows, cat-tails, soft winds and roses

Catbirds and cornfields, daydreams together
Riding on the roadside the dust gets in your eyes
Reveling, disheveling, the summer nights can bring
Pussywillows, cat-tails, soft winds and roses

Slanted rays and colored days, stark blue horizons
Naked limbs and wheatbins, hazy afternoons
Voicing, rejoicing, the wine cups do bring
Pussywillows, cat-tails, soft winds and roses

Harsh nights and candlelights, woodfires a-blazin'
Soft lips and fingertips resting in my soul
Treasuring, remembering, the promise of spring
Pussywillows, cat-tails, soft winds and roses

Blog Hibernation

Hi to those who are reading and/or following my blog! How have you been doing?

Well, if you ask me, I think it's quite obvious that I have been busy in the past month or so, as I haven;t written anything after my last blog which was way before Christmas.

Oh well, I am glad I have the chance and the moment to recall my blogsite before the month of January ends.

Indeed, I have been very busy ever since I started my new job (I love the job!) and so I haven't got enough time to post my day-to-day experiences here, and perhaps this might continue in the many weeks to come as I am still adjusting my time management. And so, I call this a "hibernation period" for my blog. I try to do my best to adjust with my new career and my day to day scheds so that I will be able to find ample time once again to write my experiences in my beloved blog.

Take care everyone, til next time and God bless us all!=)

All I Want for Christmas is an iPhone 4S!

Whew! Christmas is just around the corner, with only less than two weeks before the world will celebrate the birth of Jesus. As the days come nearer and nearer, I cannot deny the excitement that I feel, not only because the whole family will get to eat our Noche Buena once again at 12 midnight of December 25, but also because of the gifts that I might be receiving from friends and family.

Although there might be lots of things that I have written down in my Christmas wishlist, topping the list is the one thins which I have been waiting, and waiting, and waiting for few months now. That is none other than the world's number one smartphone - the iPhone 4S!

If you are someone who knows much about me, well then, you wouldn't wonder why the iPhone 4S is the number one thing on my wishlist, 'coz I am a tech geek (well, not totally though, but I always love gadgets!). Wishing to own one might be too good to be true, as the iPhone is really, really expensive (at least here in the Philippines), and perhaps nobody might afford to buy me one as a gift this Christmas, nonetheless, this is still the number one thing I want to have before this year ends!

By the way, for those who do not know yet the features of the iPhone 4S, it sports a dual-core A5 chip (which is also present in the current Apple iPad 2), and all-new 8-megapixel camera that can shoot 1080p high-def video, the iOS5 and iCloud, and the highly sophisticated virtual assistant - Siri!

the iPhone 4S - the most amazing iPhone yet!

Good news though, the iPhone 4S will be coming to the Philippines this Friday, December 16, 2011, and I am so excited for its arrival! It will be carried by the two major telcos here in the country - Smart and Globe, so perhaps I can acquire one myself from either of these carriers, only if I sign in on a two-year postpaid plan. Hopefully, I can earn enough money before Christmas or before the year ends, so that if nobody can give me the iPhone 4S as a gift, it would be fine, as I may be able to avail of a two-year contract, and grab myself the smartphone that I have always been waiting and eager to have my hands on!

Answered Prayer...

Whew! I'm busy, that I almost forgot to thank the lord for granting my wish and for not failing my prayers. I am already in my third night of working for my new online job right now, and I am so happy to be hired for this position - SEO Marketing and Product Development Personnel. By the job title alone, I like the sound of it, and even in just three days yet at work I am already starting to love the job, especially that it involves Search Engine Optimization which is one of the skills I am good at, aside from article writing. The employer, Miki Somos, is good to me, and the pay is good as well. I am so happy that god has given me this job, which is perfectly the job I have been asking for!

Now, I have another prayer to God, and that is to continue giving me more wisdom and strength to be able to work for this job in a long-term basis. This is the first job that I will be working at night, which was actually my preference at the first place, so as to avoid any disturbance at home and so that I can work smoothly and continuously. I pray to God that He will continue to guide me as I work each night, and to help me in whatever problems I may encounter. As I have already seen many, many prayers that God has granted me before, I am sure that with this prayer, He will never fail me.

Amen.

In doubt

I appreciate all the blessings I receive from God each day, be it in a surprise or something that I have been expecting. At this moment, I am caught in a dilemma about something important I have been asking God for, and it is about having a decent and stable job. Although I have had already worked in several online jobs, from article writing to customer support representative, I still haven't been successful enough to last even at least two months in any of those online jobs. So, I made up my mind of trying to apply in local companies here in the city, though I know the fact that I will most probably earn lower than those online jobs can offer me. Right now, I am still currently working in an online job as a blogger. I liked the job at first, but as days do by. it seemed too much for me to write 15 blogs each day about topics which I don't even have any idea. While I'm currently employed in this job, I'm currently waiting for my second interview in a BPO company, for which I applied as an SEO Specialist. My initial interview went fine and I get to see the company's facility and it's a nice workplace in there. As expected, the salary there was lesser than I expected, but that;s fine for me.

Okay, so I'll get to my point now. I am in doubt as to which company I would work for a long-term, while I'm busy working in my online job, at the back of my mind, I'm thinking that working in a company is also nice as I can acquire certain benefits I cannot earn in online jobs. Also, I work home-based in an online job, so it wouldn't be much of a hassle for me as I don't need to be caught up in a traffic jam going to work and thus, no getting late. Both job opportunities have their own advantages and disadvantages against each other. I never forgot that somehow, I am still blessed enough to be in a situation like this, choosing for two great opportunities in life that God has given me. It's just that, it's quite hard to choose, because in the end, it boils down as to my preference, and whatever opportunity I prefer, their is somehow a sacrifice that I need to undertake. I do hope and pray to God I choose for the better, I hope to get the better.

Rolling in the Deep

Here's a song which is one of those that gives me the Last Song Syndrome. This song, "Rolling in the Deep" by Adele is about moving on from a heartbreak in the past and having the courage to let go of the it, although the scars will always remind one of the sad love story. This song is ironic to the song "Someone like you", a very sad song also by Adele.

"Rolling In The Deep"
Adele

There's a fire starting in my heart
Reaching a fever pitch, it's bringing me out the dark
Finally I can see you crystal clear
Go ahead and sell me out and I'll lay your ship bare
See how I'll leave with every piece of you
Don't underestimate the things that I will do

There's a fire starting in my heart
Reaching a fever pitch
And it's bringing me out the dark

The scars of your love remind me of us
They keep me thinking that we almost had it all
The scars of your love, they leave me breathless
I can't help feeling
We could have had it all
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
Rolling in the deep
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
You had my heart inside of your hand
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
And you played it to the beat
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)

Baby, I have no story to be told
But I've heard one of you
And I'm gonna make your head burn
Think of me in the depths of your despair
Making a home down there
As mine sure won't be shared

(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
The scars of your love remind me of us
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
They keep me thinking that we almost had it all
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
The scars of your love, they leave me breathless
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
I can't help feeling
We could have had it all
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
Rolling in the deep
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
You had my heart inside of your hand
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
And you played it to the beat
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
We could have had it all
Rolling in the deep
You had my heart inside of your hand
But you played it with a beating

Throw your soul through every open door
Count your blessings to find what you look for
Turn my sorrow into treasured gold
You pay me back in kind and reap just what you sow

(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
We could have had it all
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
We could have had it all
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
It all, it all, it all
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)

We could have had it all
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
Rolling in the deep
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
You had my heart inside of your hand
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
And you played it to the beat
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)

You could have had it all
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
Rolling in the deep
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
You had my heart inside of your hand
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)

But you played it
You played it
You played it
You played it to the beat.

Happy Halloween!

These photos were taken at Gaisano City Mall, Cagayan de Oro City sometime in early October. Me and my friend, Roselyn, went to the Toy's department and thought of trying out the cool and creepy Halloween masks. Aside from the masks, there were also spooky Halloween costumes for young and old, perfect for the Holloween parties!

Remembering Steve Jobs

Farewell, Steve Jobs

In just two consecutive days, the world has received a significant fortunate and unfortunate event, with regards to just a single, world-renowned computer company. In October 4, the next iteration of perhaps the most amazing smartphone in the world was released. The iPhone 4S, which is the most amazing iPhone yet, was introduced to the public by Apple Inc. In October 5, an unfortunate event took the place of a successful event in Apple Inc. Steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple Inc., who introduced simple, well-designed computers for people who were more interested in what technology could do rather than how it was done, died Wednesday at age 56. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family.

In a brief statement, Apple announced the death but did not say where he died. Mr. Jobs suffered from a rare form of pancreatic cancer and had a liver transplant in 2009, and he stepped down as Apple’s chief executive on Aug. 24.

Here is the text of the email that Apple CEO Tim Cook sent to staff to announce Jobs' death:

"Team,

I have some very sad news to share with all of you. Steve passed away earlier today.
Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.
We are planning a celebration of Steve’s extraordinary life for Apple employees that will take place soon. If you would like to share your thoughts, memories and condolences in the interim, you can simply email rememberingsteve@apple.com.

No words can adequately express our sadness at Steve’s death or our gratitude for the opportunity to work with him. We will honor his memory by dedicating ourselves to continuing the work he loved so much."
I just after a few hours after his death, tributes started pouring in. Microsoft Corp co-founder and chairman Bill Gates used the Apple co-founder's own words in his tribute. Here's his message:

"For those of us lucky enough to get to work with him, it's been an insanely great honor,'' Gates said in an e-mailed statement. "I will miss Steve immensely.''

"Insanely great'' was of one of Jobs' favorite expressions.

"The world rarely sees someone who has had the profound impact Steve has had, the effects of which will be felt for many generations to come,'' Gates said.

"Steve and I first met nearly 30 years ago, and have been colleagues, competitors and friends over the course of more than half our lives.

"I'm truly saddened to learn of (his) death," he said. "Melinda and I extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends, and to everyone Steve has touched through his work."

To reiterate on of the lines of the message sent by Tim Cook, "Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple."

Truly, Steve Jobs is one of the most influential human being on Earth, and the IT world has lost one of its earliest fathers. Barack Obama says he was one of America's greatest inventors. What he has done until the day he died has significantly the lives of people from different races and made life easier. To the father of the Macintosh, may you finally rest in peace. We will never forget you and your legacy.
